Beauty Defined

When you describe a woman as being beautiful, which of her attributes are you describing?  Her physical appearance? Her impact on the world around her? The way she makes others feel? Think about how you define beauty. Do you consider yourself to be beautiful?

Here is Merriam-Webster’s definition of the word beautiful:

adjective  | beau·ti·ful | \ˈbyü-ti-fəl\

  1. having qualities of beauty :  exciting aesthetic pleasure

  2. generally pleasing :  excellent

Excellent. There’s a good place to start.

My goal for this blog is to re-imagine how beauty is defined; because mere physical attributes are not what makes a woman beautiful. We are so much more complex and abstract than that. Join me in my venture to reveal the true definition of beauty via interviews with beautiful, excellent women in Wisconsin. I can’t wait to introduce you to these entrepreneurs, mothers, artists, small business owners, first responders, soldiers/veterans, humanitarians, and more.

I’d love to hear your definition of what makes a Woman beautiful.

This is the start of something wonderful. Until next time.

XO- Danielle
